I have had the pleasure of watching Jax grow up. I have photographed him twice a year since his newborn session. Every time I see him I’m amazed how much he’s grown and how handsome he’s become. I typically do not shoot any toddlers over 1 year old in my studio, but when my best friend from Florida is in town I make an exception. Stella is such a chill little girl, that is sweet as pie. She looked adorable in this little romper that I purchased recently from a boutique based in Detroit called DCreated Boutique. The boutique sets up at Eastern Market regularly and offers the cutest little rompers for girls. Hope was the sweetest little baby. She had an extended stay in the hospital with her mommy, but was still as sleepy as ever when she came to visit for her newborn session. Hope’s mommy brought along her Irish lace wedding veil, that’s been passed down through the generations, along with a headband that was made with a flower from her wedding dress. The whole setup turned out so beautiful and held so much meaning to her family. Definitely my favorite client request to date.

Someone pinch me! Seriously! I was lucky enough to attend a family workshop with one of the best family photographers in the country – Sarah-Beth Photography. It was so amazing meeting a photographer that I’ve admired for so long. Being able to shoot next to Sarah and soak up every drop of knowledge was mind-blowing. Maxine is a gorgeous baby. Not just beautiful, an absolutely gorgeous baby! Her dimples, her perfect cheeks, everything about this little girl is pure perfection. I am so thrilled that I will have the honor of watching Maxine grow throughout her first year. I can only imagine how flippin’ cute she’s going to be when she visits again for her 6 month session.
