It’s always the biggest compliment ever when one of my existing clients refers me to one of their friends. Melanie and her family were referred from my awesome client, Audrey. I was so excited to meet the Hanaway family, since Melanie had been so very nice in all of her correspondence prior to our session. To little surprise, Melanie and her family were as sweet as can be. Her boys were so handsome & polite and such a joy to hang out with for the evening. We had a great time making fart noises, giving high fives, casting powers with magical sticks, playing in the water and slinging mud. Oh, Ace, you were just too good to me. Mom and dad were admittedly nervous for their newborn session, thinking that Ace wasn’t going to sleep and would cry the entire time. Well, folks, that couldn’t be further from reality. This sweet little boy slept so soundly the entire session, didn’t require any feeding breaks and completely stole my heart. All those nerves for no reason, Kate! Ace was an angel baby. Please bring him back soon so I can cuddle those sweet little rolls again!

Novi, Michigan Newborn Photographer
Vivian’s eyes were the first thing I noticed when I met her for her session. She has the biggest, most beautiful eyes. They just sparkle, as does Vivian. Vivian’s mommy warned me that she’s a bit camera shy, and she was, but it was nothing that a little singing and dancing couldn’t fix ;). I had a wonderful afternoon dancing and singing with Vivian and her mommy. Although Vivian didn’t bring a cake to smash {don’t worry, she’s smashed two already!}, we still finished our session with a bubble bath. She didn’t quite know what to make of it though, because she’s not used to bubbles in her bath. Watching her curiously poke the white bubbly foam was so sweet.

Aarush is another baby I’ve watched grow up over the last year. I’ll definitely miss seeing those bright, brown eyes every few months, as he’s moved back to India with his family. I’ll look forward to seeing him through photos now on the good ole’ interwebs.
